PassBox for iPhone and Mac

Create and open a box

1. Choose +, name the box, and enter the password or PIN.
2. Choose Wait or Focus, set the duration, and create the box.
3. Open the box and start its session. When it finishes, choose Open box to reveal the credential.

Wait and Focus

Wait counts down while PassBox remains running. You can use other apps, but quitting or restarting PassBox starts the full wait again.

Focus requires you to remain on the box screen and answer occasional number prompts within five seconds. Leaving or missing a prompt starts the full session again.

iCloud and reinstalling

Open Tools → iCloud & recovery to check synchronization or retry it. Only boxes that reached iCloud can return after reinstalling. Confirm that PassBox says Up to date before deleting the app or moving to a new device.

Recently Deleted

Deleted boxes can be restored from iCloud & recovery for 90 days. A restored box keeps its credential and opening method, but its timer begins again. After 90 days, its content is removed when PassBox next runs and syncs.

Important limits

PassBox adds a deliberate delay before a credential is shown. It does not change Screen Time settings, reset an Apple Account password, or provide account recovery. Keep a separate recovery method for important accounts.
